Macy’s 8th Floor Display

The Minneapolis downtown Macy’s has a Christmas display every year.  I’ve only been there a few times, but people in the area make a big deal out of going every year.  Usually, the do a different theme every year.  Apparently, this is the third year they’ve had this same display, Santa’s workshop, but this is the first time we’ve seen it, and Sophia’s first trip there.  She loved it, the details are amazing, and it was so fun to see her check everything out. 

 

Also, if you’re looking for a good day to go without hanging out in line for over an hour, the Saturday after Thanksgiving is the perfect day to check it out.  I think everyone was done with shopping after Black Friday, so there was no one in line, we walked right in, which made it that much more fun!

(Just in case you can’t see that last word, it’s “pony.”  And if you’re wondering…she’s not getting one.)
