About Me

My name is Beth.  Though my blog often gets dusty, I have a love for writing about real life as a mom, even and especially those very hard moments.  I work part-time as a contractor for a local executive search firm and am a Co-Founder of Twin Cities Moms Blog.

I am passionate about organization, adore parties {especially over-the-top children’s birthday parties} and have a major addiction to cute cake stands. 


I'm privileged to be Mommy to two gorgeous girls – Sophia {4 years} and Evelyn {2 years}.  I'm also mommy to two babies I never truly met, Hattie and Emerson.

I am incredibly fortunate to be married to Dan, a very handsome guy who is far more mellow than I am and has the patience of a saint – he balances me perfectly!  We've been married for just over 9 years.... one year to the day after our first date, and way back before that he was my junior prom date. The pictures are adorably outdated!


I simply can’t make it through my day without at least one cup of coffee {heavily seasoned with creamer}. My little girlies already know when the car is headed for the Starbucks drive-thru lane and both keep an eye out for whether or not the line is too long, in which case, we just get out of the car and go inside. I finds it almost impossible to sit still, so am constantly on the move {even while watching TV}.  I never, ever give up and thinks it’s essential to always look at the bright side.
